Datca is a small fishing town situated on the southeastern side of the Aegean and Mediterranean and has a population of appr. 8.000 people. The region is not only famous for its natural beauty (unique and rich diving spots, small bays for yacht tourism and exceptional nature) but also for its rich historical heritage.

Knidos which was founded in 6. BC on the western of the peninsula is one of the most important harbour cities of Anatolia. You can slowly cruise along the 2600 years of history in Datca - on a havenly peninsula where traditional Turkish hospitality embraces you with all its warmth.

Wonderful restaurants, peaceful cafe-bars and traditional stores line the cute little habour of Datca. Here you can enjoy the view of the great mediterranean and the Greek isle of Simi which is situated right across from Datca.

"If God wants his creation to live long he places him on Datca peninsula..."
Greek geographer STRABON (born 63 B.C.)
