Datça is one of the most popular surf- and sailing spot in Turkey. İt is one of the best districts with reliable and permanent wind. Datça offers lots of space for surfing, sailing and kiting. The wind (meltemi or north wind) blows mainly from west and is responsible for side shore conditions from right side. İn July and August the air temperature is around 35° - surfer can manage only with shorty or lycras. Several surf- and sailing schools offer courses and equipment with faire rates.
